Star Donor Charity Solutions (Star Donor) is a SaaS (software as a service) platform. We provide secure fundraising software and solutions for nonprofit organizations.

Our History

In 1999, the program was founded by Hugs for Homeless Animals (H4HA), a 501c3 nonprofit organization, as part of its mission to provide programs and services to animal shelters so that they were better able to do their work to help homeless animals. The program was called Humane Benefits.

In 2002, the success of the program had become apparent to other non-animal-related charities. To broaden its service base, the program was opened to all nonprofit organizations.

In 2005, it was determined that the management and associated costs of the program were becoming burdensome for H4HA so Star Donor was incorporated. All branding, products and services are owned and managed by Star Donor Inc.

In 2019, it was decided to secure a more targeted vehicle to takeover its management. It was important that the heart of the program remain central to the program's progress. eStar One Inc. took over management of the program. The program was renamed Star Donor Charity Solutions.

To this day, Star Donor continues to meet the ePhilanthropy Code of Ethical Online Philanthropic Practices.

Star Donor is in compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards.
