The Star Donor Charity Solutions (formerly Humane Benefits) program is primarily a donation processing engine for nonprofit organizations. This system provides a secure and efficient method for charities to accept donations from their websites without the overhead costs of typical merchant account systems.

Originally, this program was named Humane Benefits and provided services to animal-related organizations. As the program grew providing service to other types of organizations, it became clear that a name change was in order. Thus, the Star Donor Charity Solutions was born.
